I wanted to get some show plates because I just liked how they look. I was over at a friend’s house, and he had several of them on display. They are not road legal at all, but I did not mind that because I just wanted them for my wall too. When I asked him where he got his from, he told me he was able to custom make them online. He told me to go to https://www.theplateman.net/plate-maker/ and I would be able to design my own custom show plates there too.

I was not sure that I would be able to do that because I am not too savvy with computers. He laughed and told me to not worry about it, that the site would walk me through it step by step.…

There has been some vandalism in the neighborhood, but no one seemed overly concerned with it. It was a nuisance for sure, but it was just the stuff of kids not knowing better rather than people committing serious criminal activity. I did not think too much about it really until I had to get replacement number plates when the kids damaged mine. I know that it was just hi jinx but it still really bothered me a lot. I guess that is the difference between just looking on and being an actual victim, whether it is petty or not.

I did report the damage to the local police, and I knew that I had to take care of getting replacement plates quickly.…
